History B.W.A.
B.W.A. stands for Benzoni Wheel Accessories and was formed by four Italian engineers and technicians: Benzoni, Valsecchi, Valentini, Arrigoni. The initials of their surnames created the name B.W.A. The group was based around Milan and was strongly connected to racing constructors active in the 1960s and early 1970s, servicing and building multiple Formula racing cars. After the racing business split, one of the founders, Benzoni, helped establish a new company producing light alloy wheels and automotive accessories under the B.W.A. name. Their steering wheels in particular are highly sought after amongst collectors and purists.
