Share the passion at Spettacolo Sportivo
Last weekend, we had the privilege of attending the annual Spettacolo Sportivo at Circuit Zandvoort—hosted by the Dutch Alfa Romeo owners’ club (SCARB). This vibrant club gathering—a true celebration of Italian automotive passion—draws Alfa Romeo owners and enthusiasts from across Europe.
Static displays and on-track action
The weekend was a feast for Alfisti, with wonderful static displays and some on-track races featuring the Alfa Romeo Challenge and Squadra Italia producing thrilling battles and spectacular sounds reverberating through the dunes on this historic racetrack. We specifically recommend one of the standout features of the event: participants were able to take their own street Alfas out on track in specially organised demo sessions. Automotive passion just doesn’t get any cooler than this.
Some extra flavour was added by this year’s special themes of 75 years of the Alfa Romeo 1900, 25 years of the Alfa 147 and 50 years of the Alfasud Giardinetta.
Work never off the radar
Of course we also explored the stands of the used parts jumble at the event—after all, work is never off the radar. We were able to source two vintage steering wheels to add to our collection so happy days on that.

In short, the Spettacolo Sportivo event is a must go to. A heartfelt gathering of Italian car culture and community spirit. We’re already looking forward to the 2026 edition because the team from Classic Steering Wheel Shop is planning to take part with a stand of our own.
